MAKHACHKALA, June 17 – RIA "Dagestan". Acting Head of the Republic of Dagestan Fyodor Shchukin, during a working meeting with Pakistan's Ambassador to Russia Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, invited a Pakistani delegation to visit the republic for a detailed discussion of joint projects.
The key areas for cooperation were identified as the creation of joint production facilities in industry and agricultural processing. "We are open to cooperation in a wide variety of fields: industry, agriculture, tourism, education and culture" the head of the region emphasized.
Shchukin reminded that Dagestan was among the leaders in agricultural production. The republic is ready to share its expertise and technologies in crop production, animal husbandry and wool processing. Besides, Dagestan officials are also interested in joint research, student internships and cultural events.
